GroomTeamUSA,Inc. has changed the sanctioning guidelines for  the 2026-2027 contest circuit. Guideline updates are an ongoing effort to comply with accepted international rules and professional industry protocol. Applications for sanctioning must have been received by June 1, 2025, for the 2026-2027 contests.

GroomTeam USA will be awarding points only to Open Division competitors in the four sanctioned classes:

• Wire Coats Class Handstrip
• Sporting Class- Spaniels And Setters
• Poodles
• Other Pure Breeds- Scissoring

Entries from classes and divisions other than the GroomTeam USA, Inc. ® Sanctioned Open Division classes will not be counted in point calculation. Bonus points will be awarded to Best In Show winners  provided  their entry is from a sanctioned class. Best in Show points count toward the Top 10 point totals only.

Thank you for your interest in having a GroomTeam USA sanctioned show. *Application fee $500, includes $250 per year, per show. Please fill out the application and submit it by June 1, 2025 for the 2026-2027 show cycle. Make sure you check the “I agree” box and click Submit. Successfully sent emails will generate a “Your Message Has Been Sent” displayed on your screen.
